cmrouen1 Hi! Just saw the price increased a bit so I may have to hold off buying as I was already blowing my budget as it was. I was waiting for a response to my questions above prior to purchasing but need to hold off a bit now. Do you have any background on the piece? Is that the original box and does it come with it?

gigiscorner @cmrouen1 Good morning so sorry I missed this message. Yes this is the original box and I am assuming the opals are real. that was a verified jeweler when I looked it up online. It is not in business anymore. The ring and box are excellent condition.

gigiscorner After researching the store, I am thinking the ring is older than I originally thought. Leeds opened in 1915 and closed in 1989. It had two locations. The reason I raise the price is because I think the gold is worth more than I had originally posted. there is a lot of intricate work underneath the opals in 1k

gigiscorner @nireland4166 No I do not if you look up Leeds jewelers I found some information that the company began in 1915 and when the owner retired in I think the store close that’s all I know I asked my mom who is in her 80s she doesn’t remember the jewelers. She lived in a different town though if you use Google lens on the box all that information pops up it is a gorgeous ring. I wish my kids wanted it but they don’t. I don’t think it was ever worn. It does not look scratched.

gigiscorner @gigiscorner My mother-in-law was not a fancy person, so I am guessing that my. Father-in-law bought it for her for a special day and she just never wore it. If you, Google lens the jeweler the information available it seems like a reputable family jeweler and had two locations.

gigiscorner @jessbonar Good morning I do not have an appraisal. My daughter is marketing manager for the very high-end jeweler, JRDunn in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She showed it to her diamond buyer. I did put the comments of her verbal appraisal in the description.

gigiscorner @hkp10190 Yes ok. I I am having my daughter‘s baby shower shortly so I’ve got a lot on my plate, but I will try to get out soon to do this. I am sure the appraisal will state the the fact whether the stones are real or not. My daughter‘s jewelry store diamond buyer stated they are gorgeous opals with fire….. Her store is in Fort Lauderdale. I live in Tampa and I have the rink so I’m going to have to find someone around here to do it for me.
