Each bag was handmade (not handcrafted) using Italian box-grained leather that was treated to be scratch, water and stain resistant. Both the pebbled textured leather and brushed pearlized brass hardware have an antiqued quality meant to probably lend a classic "old world" elegance that you see in the European luxury bag market. It shows that the designers and crafters had all this in mind when they made the bag. It is small, but fits the basics--phone, medium wallet... Condition; The bag is good condition, but you can find scuffs/scratches on the leather--both the box-grain and bridle leather as well as wear on the flap fold. There is also darkening on the bottom.
