The shoes in the image are the Nike Air Foamposite One "Sharpie" edition, which was released as part of a two-sneaker "Penny Pack" in 2015.  The Story: The story behind the "Sharpie" design dates back to 1997 when NBA player Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway first wore the original royal blue Foamposite One colorway.  The NBA had strict uniform guidelines at the time, which required shoes to match the team's colors and be at least 50% black or white.  The original royal blue shoe did not meet this requirement. To get around the rule, Hardaway used a black marker to color in the ridges of the shoe's upper, making it appear to have more black and comply with the dress code.  Nike later officially released this "Sharpie" version to commemorate that moment.  No Box
