This listing is for a vintage, faux pearl, Miriam Haskell extra long necklace. The metal beads do have corrosion, and the clasp does have verdigris on it. The pearls are in wonderful condition considering age. This has NOT been run through the ultrasonic cleaner, (I never run pearls through the machine). I recommend a gentle wipe down with an alcohol free baby wipe. It measures approximately 34" long and can easily be doubled. This is an authentic Miriam Haskell piece from the late 1940's? None of the 11mm pearls are peeling. The necklace has good weight to it. If you are sensitive when It comes to wearing something heavy around your neck, this may not be the necklace for you. Just a final reminder, this necklace is close to 80 years old, and is NOT in mint condition. I will include a velvet dust bag for storage. Buy with confidence, careful packaging promised.
