Are these waterproof and do you think the treads would be ok for hiking?

Thanks for asking! These are leather lace-up boots, but they are not labeled or designed as waterproof. The leather appears solid and the soles have decent tread, so they’d be fine for light walking or casual outdoor wear, but I wouldn’t recommend them for true hiking
