Vintage set of L.E. Smith cobalt blue glass milk can canisters L.E. Smith Glass Company, a U.S. manufacturer. It is made of thick, cobalt blue glass. The blue color helps protect contents from UV light. The canister is designed to resemble an old-fashioned milk can with a matching glass lid that often features a gasket for a tight seal. These particular canisters were typically manufactured in the 1970s. They commonly come in various heights, such as 6-inch, 7.5-inch, 9-inch and 10” models, all typically with a 5.5-inch diameter. They are versatile and can be used for general kitchen storage like cookies, flour, sugar, or as a decorative apothecary jar. Condition: Good Vintage Condition.
