Vintage Monmouth-style stoneware crock featuring the humorous “Who… Brought the ICE?” design with a brown transfer graphic of a vintage gentlemen’s group portrait.
This piece was issued by Monmouth Heritage Inc. (MHI) as a commemorative reproduction using Monmouth Pottery designs and molds. The copyright mark reads © MHI 1979, placing this example firmly in the late 1970s production period.
Heavy stoneware construction with a warm yellow glaze and a clean glazed interior. Great as kitchen décor, a utensil holder, barware display, or for collectors of Illinois pottery.
