Vintage ceramic winking Santa candle holder by Holt Howard, made in Japan, 1961. Marked on base, ink stamped, (c) 1961 H.H., accompanied by a gold H over H, Japan, label. Approximately 5 1/4 inches in diameter (or 5 3/4 counting the handle which overhangs the plate portion a little bit), about 1 3/4 inches tall at highest point. Vintage item in good condition, no chips, no cracks, light crazing, very good paint/decoration. Red paint on these vintage MIJ imports is usually cold paint (not fired on) which is delicate; handle appropriately.
