Tabra Tunoa's jewelry business began in the 1970s when she started selling earrings on the streets of Berkeley, California. Tabra’s background includes studying Mayan and Aztec art in Mexico and Central America, and jewelry design in Spain. The primary stones in these earrings are Malachite and Lapis Lazuli with gold-filled leafs. They measure 2.5" long and they are truly beautiful. With the exception of some patina of the gold leaf, which comes with age, they are in excellent condition. I am the original and only owner (hence the great price), and the earrings have been lovingly cared for.
