1970 Puma Skinner with Pumamaster steel. I purchased this one from a collector. It’s dangerously sharp. I haven’t sharpened it myself because the edge is still perfect. Looks like it was someone’s box opener or desk knife. You can tell it was never used as intended, but it’s in fantastic shape. The production number is 33073 which put the steel in the 3rd quarter of 1970 during the golden age of Puma. The original sheath wasn’t acquired from the collector, but I’ll throw in a modern Puma sheath I bought from the website, fitted and made for the skinner.

dukeofwalnutI just wanted to add one more thing. The Skinner model is the best hunting knife I’ve ever owned. I have two of them because I loved it so much, but the reality is the knife is so good you only need one. The PumaSteel is second to none and holds a razor sharp edge without effort. Hope that helps.
