I am very excited to present an extremely rare, unique, One of a kind piece. this exceptional hand stripped wool rug hooking is the only surviving piece of Julie Koppenberg's work. she spent 15 years of her life stripping the wool by hand, and then designing this rug to mimic the muscular structure in the horse's body. this is a collector quality piece that belongs in a museum or with an esteemed equestrian art collector. only one available, will not be able to be replicated. please do not send offers lower than asking price for this piece, it is a unique collector item and worth much more than what I'm asking with evaluations placing it at $150,000+ or more framed. the piece is being sold as is without a frame, but if it doesn't sell in the next couple of months I will be sending it off to have it professionally museum quality preservation and framing completed and will relist for a much higher price point. for the discerning collector only.
