Soft Surroundings Plaid Maxi Holiday Skirt

This is a truly gorgeous maxi skirt by Soft Surroundings, advertised as a holiday skirt originally. I have to agree. This skirt takes its cues from the full Victorian skirts of yesteryear… and this skirt has a rare feature, which is a built in crinoline and a 100% Cotton liner… this makes the skirt beautifully full. This skirt dates to 2014 or earlier, but it has timeless style. This skirt pairs well with a wrap top (or a lightweight white blouse and a wrap sweater — I chose a dark purple sweater). (See photo #15 and cover photo) The waist of this skirt has a built-in elastic that offers stretch. Waist: 14.25 inches laid flat Length: 39 This skirt is dry clean only. Fabric: SHELL: 100% VISCOSE LINING: 100% COTTON NETTING: 100% POLYESTER This skirt was worn a few times and has not been dry cleaned. The hem doesn’t lie flat (I think of this as a feature; I don’t think it was realistically designed to lie flat…the hem curls (see listing photos)…this works because of the built in liner.
