90s April Cornell Beaded Mirror Maxi Dress / Formal Gown

Stunning vintage 90s April Cornell for Cornell Trading Shisha mirror beaded maxi dress / formal gown in cobalt blue. I love this brand - April Cornell started her company in 1975 & all her designs that I’ve seen are very Cottagecore, similar to Laura Ashley. Cotton & rayon is comfy & lightweight, although the heavily beaded & fully lined bodice has some heft to it! Pleating at waist - has an Empire waistline where the skirt starts under bust. Button closure in front bodice, otherwise pop over your head. Tagged Women’s size S modeled on a S/M 34B 5’5” 29” waist. This is a bit too tight on me in the bodice/across my broad shoulders, otherwise I’d keep it! Great length on me. Relaxed fit in waist & hips bc of pleating. Best on a Women’s XS/S with a small bust. Unisex. In good used condition w/no noticeable flaws besides a few picks in rayon skirt (see pics) & I’ve reinforced a few beads. I’ve washed this - wash cold gently in sink (inside out) + hang drip dry. Don’t wring or squeeze, you’ll break the mirrors! A little tricky to take care of.
