VINTAGE JOSÉ COTEL C.D.C. PARIS GOLD LEOPARD BUCKLE BELT — MADE IN FRANCE

This rare vintage José Cotel C.D.C. Paris belt is a striking statement piece featuring a double gold leopard buckle, rhinestone details, and a unique multi-strand design that blends white faux-croc straps with gold metal chain links. Fully marked “JOSE COTEL C.D.C. – PARIS – MADE IN FRANCE.” This belt dates to approximately the late 1970s–early 1980s, when José Cotel designed highly stylized, runway-influenced belts with animal motifs and sculptural clasps — pieces that are now quite collectible and difficult to find. Condition: Preowned vintage. There are a couple of missing gold metal tabs (the rectangular decorative links along the straps). This is common with belts from this era and does not affect wear or closure. Still a GORGEOUS, bold statement belt and fully functional.
