Vintage Sara Coventry sterling silver ring with a faceted oval Amethyst or Amethyst glass (mostly likely). The stone is set a unique petal-like prong setting that sits above the ring shank. When light hits the stones facets, you'll see purple reflections bounce off the setting. This ring has a unique adjustment feature (refer to photos) It will fit approximately sizes 6.5-8. The ring shank slides through a chanel and there ball stopper at the end, it will not let you enlarge it past an 8. Sara Coventry rarely used sterling and some consider this quite collectible.
