You’re saying the pit-to-pit measurement is 23? So bust of 46”? That’s huge for a vintage small. Could you post a pic with the measuring tape? 27” is the length? Please post a pic with the measuring tape there, too.

Yes, it fits like a large as I said in the description. It is 23 x 27. The length is 27 inches from the top of the shoulder to the bottom.
