Vintage Hand Painted Wood Prayer Plate 11.5in Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread

Vintage hand-painted wooden wall plate featuring a couple praying over a meal with the man reading the Holy Bible and a cat curled at their feet. The rim reads “Give us this day our daily bread” with wheat, floral and heart motifs. Turned wood plate measures about 11.5" across. Unmarked; likely mid-20th-century folk art or import wall decor. Best suited for decorative display only, not for food use. Plate shows age and character, including surface scratches, finish wear, and a visible age split/crack running through part of the rim and into the painted area.
