Burmese jade, artisan-carved in Hong Kong. 100% natural color; untreated gemstone. Type A jadeite is reserved for jewelry. Multi-colored, mostly lavender with a few faint green areas/veins.

@yanli6590 No, there is no certificate. The appraisal was part of a bulk estate appraisal done by a jeweler to determine measurements.

@yanli6590 Hello, if you are referring to surface cracks as in it being broken, then no. There are surface imperfections, because as stated in the description, authentic jadeite has naturally occurring imperfections in the rock itself, as with all natural stones. There is one small area where you can feel the natural inclusion if you were to run your fingernail over it. You would not be able to feel it by running the pad of your finger over it. I will upload an enlarged photo of this area.

Yes I know if there is a crack you will feel the crack on your fingernails if the jade itself can be seen by the eyes but can’t be felt by the hands I saw the enlarged photo is it it’s own defect or cracks?
