It's real leather, but the leather is somewhat stiff, not really supple. It's in fairly good condition, with a few scratches and scuffs that are shown in images. The closure looks like a buckle but it actually closes with a magnetic snap. It has a zipper back pocket and two zipper inner pockets, all shown in images. The bag is 11" wide, 8" tall, 4" deep and has a strap drop that can range from 18.5" to 21.5" depending on which hole the buckle is put through.
