Vintage Zimmerman “The Favorite” 5 Bar Autoharp c. late 1890s/early 1900s. Wood. Black and Gold. Oscar Schmidt Company. Maker: Originally made by C.F. Zimmermann in Philadelphia, later by the Autoharp Co. in Dolgeville, NY. Model: "The Favorite" is a Style #2 3/4, originally with five bars. Features: This model has 21 strings and three bars for C Major, G Seventh, and F Major chords. Markings: The autoharp features a gold and black decal indicating "The Original Autoharp" and "Phonoharp Co. E. Boston, Mass.". Condition: Good Used Vintage/Antique Condition Some Fading And Cracking in the Graphics As Shown. Some Scratching and Dings/Cracks on Wood As Shown. Has been in my Family and Stored. Originally Owned by my Great Grandfather.
