The history of British jewelry company Exquisite began in 1914 in the city of Solihull. Founded by engraver Augustus, Harry Power and Clarence Oswald Flint, the two men bought the business from a jeweler Walter Archibald Parker Watson. Known, especially for their flower and leaf pieces, Exquisite jewelry became especially popular after the Second World War and became one of the UK‘s largest manufacturers of custom jewelry in the 60s and 70s. Many of their pieces are highly sought after today.
This particular brooch is a gold tone With teal enamel antiquing. It measures 2.56 inches by 1.05 inches, has a roll over clasp and is signed on the back of the stem.
