JONES NEW YORK Sport Woman Black Cotton Cardigan Sweater - Zip Front - Size 1X

As you may know, JONES NEW YORK is known for very good quality, and that is true of this sweater. It is a heavy sweater, with a zip front that closes high on the neck...so high that it turns down (to keep the neck extra warm, right?) When not zipped all the way up, the neckline is collared in a very becoming fashion. The sleeves are long and can be turned/cuffed. Obviously, the color is versatile. The sweater is 100% cotton, which means it is machine washable, and drys flat. The approximate dimensions of this 1X sized item, are: Length (as measured in the back from the neckline seam to the bottom) is 24 inches; the width (as measured flat at the base of the armholes) is 22 inches and (as measured flat at the bottom of the sweater) is 24 inches (or 44 and 48 inches around, respectively). I purchased this at Macy's, and as best I remember the original price was around $79. So why am I parting with it? This is a heavy sweater, made for colder climates, not Florida, where I now reside!
