A modern twist on a traditional 19th century Japanese tetsubin cast iron tea kettle. Beautiful green finish on a cast iron body with a Japanese Gingko tree leaf design, stainless steel infuser and a black enamel interior coating (non toxic) to prevent rust. Complete with the tetsubin’s history, use and care instructions. Cast iron has weight as traditional ones are made from cast iron. Will last a very long time if cared for properly. I still have my grandmother’s original tetsubin. In those days there was no enamel interior or infuser. Measurements (see photos) are approximate. 8”W x 7”H New with tags.
