This Jovani gown has been waiting for someone to do it justice again. Originally purchased in 2003 for $475, about $800 today, this is a genuine piece from Jovani’s early formal era. The craftsmanship shows: hand-beaded sequins scatter across the bodice and cascade down through the skirt in a starburst pattern, set against color-shifting fabric that reads copper in warm light and deep lavender-purple in cool light. The mermaid silhouette is structured and fitted through the body, flaring at the hem with a slight train. Delicate spaghetti straps were added when new and can be removed if you prefer the original strapless look. Comes with the original matching shawl. Excellent vintage condition.
