Set of 2 Spelter Whippet Greyhounds Dog Bookends 8", Canine home office decor

Very classic and very easy decorators´ pieces, these 2 spelter metal greyhound bookends were made in India, ca 1980-early 2000s. They sit on a rectangular black speckled marble base, and the base is covered in black felt with one having the "made in India" sticker. The hounds are overall nicely made, but their faces and feet are a delightfully naïve. Perfect for original purpose to hold books in place, or combine them with various other objects in your home décor. Condition: with some greening to the metal, and one of the pups has lost its tail. With overall marks of age and use, including some scuffing. The bases look clean and whole.
