Hand-carved Pelican Water Buffalo Horn Vintage

This beautiful vintage hand carved Asian scrimshaw buffalo horn shows a pelican looking to the sky. This piece was likely created in the mid-1900’s in Thailand, carved from one natural water buffalo horn. It is mounted on a wooden base and is in excellent vintage condition, no dings or cracks. Approximately 6 in x 4 in. Thailand Scrimshaw is featured on a cream body with a dark brown base and bill. Please refer to photos as a part of the description.
