This vintage bank was produced sometime around the 1950’s for Atlas Car Batteries as a promotional item. It is made of metal, and looks like an Atlas car battery in black, red and silver colors. When opened it was filled with old Bazooka Joe cartoons that were popular, and had been previously wrapped around the pink Bazooka Joe chewing gum that was popular in the 1960’s, 70’s and beyond. There are about 21 cartoons that will be inside this collectible vintage bank. Both the bank and the cartoons are showing their age, with some having rust and wrinkles. The top is removable, but is tight. Would make a great gift for a car collector, or someone who would enjoy the nostalgia of these old cartoons…A memorable collectible to add to the collector’s treasures.
