It features a mechanical and charge-coupled electronic shutter that operates from 1/1500 to 1 sec., and can go to 4 sec. when set to Fireworks mode. You can set light sensitivity from ISO 80 to 1600. It stores images on any SD, SDHC, or SCXC card. Four AA batteries power it; you get about 370 photos with alkaline batteries and 960 with lithium. Batteries out, it weighs a skosh less than a pound. used a couple times like new in the box!
