WOW! Vintage 50s Gold Lame Wiggle Dress Dorothy O’Hara. Classic.

This vintage dress is a rare and incredible find! Made by Dorothy O’ Hara in the 1950s, it features a stunning gold lame material with an atomic burst pattern. (See close up) The wiggle/pencil style construction of this dress is gorgeous. The waistband is curved. The Pleats at the bust and the back bustle accentuate the feminine form. The gold fabric is in very good condition with no snags or tears. There is some seam opening at the back shoulder straps. And the lining has pulled away from the side seams. All easy fixes…see photos. This definitely needs a good cleaning…but I prefer to leave that to the professionals.This dress is a larger size especially for vintage. (I was a size 12 with a DD bust when I wore it.)
