This beauty is a rare piece! It's a deep dark green in color and likely a morning brooch from the turn of the century or just before and also likely made from vulcanite which is similar to a rubber. On occasion victorian mourning jewelry would incorporate dark green to symbolize rebirth. Though the main colors of mourning were black and white. White to symbolize purity.
