1950s Vintage Villeroy and Boch Luxembourg Demitasse Cups Set

This kitschy set of porcelain demitasse cups is sure to charm anyone. They are a vintage Villeroy and Boch Luxembourg set of porcelain cups and saucers depicting various Chinese scenes. The saucers have a golden palm design. There are 5 cups and 4 saucers. One saucer is broken so I'm including the fifth cup for free. All the others are in very good condition with no chips. The cups stand 2.75" tall and saucers are 4.5" in diameter. Demitasse Cup History: Inspired by the Ottoman coffee-drinking traditions, the French crafted these small porcelain cups to serve concentrated coffee after meals. Fine dining to be sure!
