Vintage early 90s Chanel Paris Limited Edition Double Flap shoulder bag rendered in black quilted lambskin leather, featuring border trim and accented with a multi-tone 'CC' turn-lock closure on the front flap. Got this vintage beauty from a little boutique in Saint Tropez in 2010. The outside is pretty flawless, but there are few marks on the inside flap. About the Classic Flap: Very few bags can claim that they have grown in popularity (and value) since 1955 -- and the Classic Flap is one of them. Originally launched as the "2.55", the bag featured a rectangular turn-lock closure and a long chain-strap, as Coco Chanel was tired of carrying her purse in her hands. Thanks to the creative genius of Karl Lagerfeld, the bag was updated to the Classic Flap we know, love, and recognize and featured the new logo 'CC' closure instead.
