This is the only Alexandrite I have and please check prices of other rings - they are much more expensive - some in the hundreds of dollars. This Solitaire Alexandrite ring set in 925 sterling silver ring. The Alexandrite is a color changing stone depending on the lighting (daylight, candlelight, different types of light bulbs). I tried capturing the colors in different lighting. The band is thin and comfortable to wear. Marked 925. New. This is an extraordinary gem. Set in a lovely six prong setting. It looks to be about two carats. New. Never worn. The story behind the discovery and naming of alexandrite is filled with controversy. atomicjoy @marinerfan1 Hi! I always assume any of the newer rings are lab created so I would say it’s most likely lab created. When I was searching for a similar ring to sell, I was not able to find one so I gave up looking.

atomicjoy @marinerfan1 Yes, I agree, it’s one of the most unusual and beautiful gems I’ve had the pleasure to wear. And this ring, with the six prongs looks so much nicer than the usual four prongs rings I’ve looked at. Well, thank you for noticing my ring and I hope you have a happy day today 😌
