HERMÈS 1950’s VANITY TRAIN CASE I BOUGHT THIS AT AUCTION-2005 I was told it was owned by someone “famous” hence the monograms that were removed. Who knows if that’s true?? But it was rumored to be Marilyn Monroe’s and when I purchased there was a emery board very deep under lining in side pocket and I kept it there just in case it was and because I thought it was sooooo cool 😉 there are pictures of her holding same case so make your own call. The inside has wear that is to be expected with this year. The outside also has reasonable wear. All original hardware and mirror as well as feet are still intact and working I’ve only seen 4 online that were from this time period. The others were dated in the 70’s A spa day at Hermès would make this BEAUTY…… A Legend!!!!
