Hermes silk scarf measuring approx. 35 inches X 35 inches in excellent condition.
From the Hermes website: "At the center of this scarf designed by Hugo Grygkar in 1946, Hermès' Ex-Libris combines the caduceus of the god Hermes and the waiting groom inspired by Alfred de Dreux's design. This emblem is elegantly surrounded by carriages without their horses in a subtle tribute to the saddle- and harness-maker and the origins of the Maison." Multiple re-issues occurred in the 80's and 90's according to online sources. This scarf belonged to my wife's grandmother. Given this, it is therefore likely that this scarf was manufactured sometime in the 80's.
