Here is a gown I made in the 1970s which I'm finally ready to offer. It's made of taupe and off-white voile with coordinated lace trim. It's figure-flattering with a fitted bodice and a sweeping skirt. The sleeves are gathered down to the romantic Princess cuff. In the back, to make it period-correct for an occasion, a panel of the same fabric was basted over the zipper. If desired, this panel can be snipped off so only the zipper shows. This elegant country-style gown was influenced by Gunne Sax dresses of the time, which I have just begun to offer in my closet. SIZE: Small, with measurements of Bust: 37", Waist: 26", Length: 60". It will become a bit shorter when worn over a wide crinoline petticoat (which I highly recommend). EXCELLENT vintage hand-sewn condition.
