What is Polynosic Modal…..well let me tell you….. “Polynosic modal" isn't a distinct material; rather, polynosic is a specific type of modal, a high-performance rayon fiber made from cellulose, primarily from beech trees. Polynosic fibers are a modification of modal rayon that offer even greater strength, especially when wet, and better dimensional stability compared to ordinary rayon or even standard modal. This results in a durable, soft, and shrink-resistant fabric, though the term "polynosic modal" is often a redundancy, with "polynosic" itself describing the superior characteristics. Good to know…..
