This leather is buttery soft and the color is a rich burgundy. The leather has patinaed with age. You can buckle the bag or store the strap underneath the flap. The bag measures 9 1/2 x 7 x 2 1/2. Inside the bag is a zipper pocket. There is also a large open pocket underneath the flap. The strap drop is 20 inches at the longest length. It cna go shorter for shoulder use. made in NYC and it has the original hangtag.
