I could watch "Out Of Africa" 16 million times and never tire of it. I suspect the FP employee who named this garment is right there with me! This creamy, ethereal maxi in gauzy cotton is exactly the type of thing Karen Dinesen would wear on her coffee farm, with beautiful details straight out of the Edwardian era: pintucking, tiny covered buttons, eyelets, mixed laces, cross-stitching on the bodice. The long dolman sleeves have button closures. This garment is in excellent, rarely worn condition (I wish I could figure out how to feel comfy in pale colors!). There is a tiny flaw on one side of the collar (see photo) which was present when I purchased the dress. Please note: there is no slip with this dress. It did not come with one when I purchased it from another Posher. Approximate measurements: length down center back 54"; length down center front 47.5"; pit to pit 22" at least (generous because of the dolman sleeves). As always, from a smoke-free, pet-free closet.
