This Madame Alexander doll is new but without a box. It does come in a plastic bag which is part of the original packaging. Toto is also in a small plastic bag. Madame Alexander's felt Dorothy doll from the year 2000 Wizard of Oz Collection. This Dorothy stands 14" tall and has a lovely hand painted face with brown eyes and ruby red lips. Her pretty blue gingham jumper and white blouse are fresh and crisp and she is still wearing her full white lace edged slip and matching pantaloons, little light blue socks and her famous ruby red slippers. Her beautiful long dark curls are accented with a blue satin bow. There is a fishnet over face and hair! Dorothy is wearing her original hand tag showing that she is Style Number 25545 and was introduced in 2000. She is in very good vintage condition. I found some listings that stated this doll was rare, but personally I am not sure about that.
