DON’T BUY THIS LISTING ⚠️ ‼️This is just a heads up to avoid 🆂CA🅼s‼️ Songmont and Polene are some of the most 🆁EPPED mid-tier brands, and many of them end up on Poshmark. I wanted to buy secondhand, but quickly became concerned by the amount of undisclosed 🆁EP listings: Songmont is a hot indie brand in China, which perhaps makes it an easy target for local factories to 🆁EP for domestic audiences. The 🆁EPs are listed on Taobao for $40 USD against the platform’s policy, but it’s easy for sellers to reupload even if they get reported. Of course, at that price, the leather on the 🆁EPs is horrible and the stitching is uneven. You can see it in some Posh photos where the leather looks dry and thin, is rippling against the stitching, or the stitching doesn’t line up. Be sure to check sellers’ closets for red flags before purchase. Sometimes they’ve already sold a handful of the same Songmont listings. Other times they’re a brand new account with the single Songmont listed. Any Songmont bag listed in new condition that’s 50% or more off of retail should raise alarms. If the quality looks suspect, it probably is. Some 🆁EP listings are already unknowingly being reposhed at higher price points.
