Large knitting bag with fold over top. There are three large compartments inside (a middle zippered compartment and two on each side), as well as multiple pockets. Comes with a small, removable bag. There are two small nicks, one on the bottom of each handle. I tried to show these the best I could in the photos. 19" tall unfolded, 12 1/2" tall with top folded, 17" wide, 6 1/2" deep.
