Uzbek Silver Lapis Lazuli Pendant Necklace

The vintage necklace from Uzbekistan measures 20 inches long with a height drop of 11". It is composed of silver rondel beads with an inlaid pear shaped lapis lazuli set along each side. The necklace then splits into two rows. Between the two rows of silver beads are seven, evenly spaced small pear shaped lapis lazuli culminating at the apex with a round inlaid lapis piece. This piece is set above a large half circle pendant containing inlaid lapis accented with a twisted wire border and beadwork. Dangling from this piece, via “O” rings, are five inlaid lapis pieces. The necklace fastens with a hook and eye closure.
