Off-shoulder sweater with chiffon ruff cuff (Neiman Marcus, medium)

This black cashmere sweater with dramatic chiffon cuffs deserves a better life than the one I've given it, hidden in the back of my closet in a garment bag. Are you willing to take it out and show it a good time? If so, please read on! A gifted stylist at Nieman Marcus pointed me toward this sweater. I wore it twice: once to a bridal shower and once to a Christmas dinner in New York. I think this piece is incredibly elegant, and I'm parting with it only because it doesn't fit me well anymore. This sweater has a wide boatneck which, in my opinion, works best with a strapless bra. The detail along the neckline is elegant and feminine (see the third photo). The body of the piece also has some subtle ribbing, which you can see in the fourth photo, near the hem. You might notice a little pilling, but it gets lost in the natural halo of fabric. The body of the sweater is 100% cashmere. The cuffs are 100% silk. If you need something to wear with this sweater, consider the gauzy blue-green Vince skirt that’s also listed in my closet.
