I have taken so many photos of this coat to do it proper justice! What you are looking at is a stunning, excellent and beautiful vintage coat from Boston Proper. This is a staple for anyone as this will never go out of style!! Please read: 📍 From Boston Proper’s 1980s(!) line of statement coats Its a take off on the US Marine Dress Style. It's a very dark navy with lovely red piping and brass buttons! 📍 The stripes on the cuff are a metallic gold. Buttons are brass with a flower-like engraved design. The kick pleat in the back also has a brass button at the start. Flap pockets at hip and at either side above bust. Lined with navy satin. Have I mentioned how beautiful this coat is?! 😊 📍Originally was $500 in the 80s. It is a size 14 and I have labeled it as a size Large because sizes have changed, in my opinion, it runs small for a size 14. Pit to pit measures 20" and length is 40". 📍 Coat is extremely well tailored given just the perfect detailing keeping it a closet staple. This is a classic and will never be out of style.
