These plates are examples of mass-produced decorative dishware from the mid-20th century. The iridescent finish, known as lusterware, was a popular design trend during the Art Deco era and remained fashionable through the mid-century modern period.
Atlas Czechoslovakia was known for producing affordable, stylish glassware and ceramics, often exported to various markets. The palette shape and small circular indentation suggest these were designed as snack plates, possibly for serving hors d'oeuvres or desserts.
