There are no tags on this dress, so I can neither confirm nor deny it to be an authentic Gunne Sax. But I have never seen this style in Emerald Green and muslin... isn't it gorgeous!? My mother bought me this dress for a military ball in 1980. I wore it a second time to a Christmas party the next year. It has been lovingly stored. I looked until my eyes watered and found no stains or tears. The elastic at the wrists is worn out. Surely a function of time.
I was a size 11 at the time I wore this beautiful dress. But here are the measurements:
Pit to pit = 19
Waist = 15
Hips = 20
Shoulder to hem = 57

Whats going on witht he back..is it stained or is it just bad photos?

@harlowrocks its the mannequin. it has print on it... you can see that clearly on the front view where you can see the neck. that print cubes the whole mannequin. this dress had no stains
