e_saladino I think these might be the loose crop selvedge. Can you compare photos? If they’re the richman I am super interested but I have the selvedge and feel like the fading matches it perfectly.

wearforartthou Hi, I was under the impression that selvedge meant the inner seam, so that seam showing when the jeans are rolled in the pics of the selvedge shows it, it is a flatter neater seam. Google gives this definition - "self-finished" edge of a piece of fabric which keeps it from unraveling and fraying. The term "self-finished" means that the edge does not require additional finishing work, such as hem or bias tape, to prevent fraying. These do NOT have that selvedge seam.
