tati_tu@leen59 Hi! Thanks for your patience. The top appears to be painted black (not stained) — you can see some wear where the finish is coming off. The base looks like brass with a darker aged/patina finish. The top does not screw off — it seems fixed. Let me know if you’d like more photos!
