Vintage Betsey Johnson Silk Slip Dress, Black, Y2K, Size Large (8-10). This was a sample style released in 2002-2003 I worked for Betsey Johnson in the early 2000's and acquired many sample pieces. This is a one-of-a-kind sample piece that unfortunately came without tags. I can't prove that it is an authentic Betsey Johnson, however I assure you it is a genuine. You can easily search the RN# and CA#, and see that other Betsey Johnson garments come up. The texture of the dress is called "broom sticking" which is a process of drying the garment to cause intentional wrinkles (please research this process to understand how to maintain this texture). The dress has four strings attached under the bust that tie around the back and two draw strings that sinch each cap sleeve. Lace front bust and mesh cap sleeves.
